Policyholder: What are additional living expenses (ALE)?
Additional living expenses, or ALE, are extra expenses you incur if you must leave your permanent residence because of a loss. ALE categories allow you to distinguish what kind of expenses you are adding. Examples of categories might include Meals, Hotel, Rent, and Transportation.
When the task is shared with you, you can
- Add and edit normal expenses
- Add and edit temporary housing information
- Upload additional living expense receipts
- See what has been paid
- See what your remaining limit is
