Administrator: Some best practices to make forms WCAG compliant

Updated by Jennifer B.

  • Add descriptions to images, including animated images, in new and existing forms that provide non-sighted users information that is similar to what a sighted user would understand by looking at the image.
  • Add descriptions to videos in new and existing forms that provide a synopsis of the video content.
  • Add details to hyperlinks that do not describe their purpose. For example, if the text displayed for the link is “Click here” and the content around the link does not specify the purpose of the link.
  • Audit your form against the WCAG standards that you want to comply with.
