How do I generate a User Name and API Key?

  1. Click on your name at the top of your dashboard.
  2. Select Administration.
  3. Click Account Info in your side navigation.
  4. Click the API tab.
  5. Enter a user name
    6. This user name is specific to the API and not you.
  6. Click Generate API Key.
  7. Copy the API key
  8. Provide the API Key and User Name to your developers.
  9. Click Save.
Be sure to make note of your API key; for security reasons it will not be available after you initially generate and save it. If you fail to note the key, you will need to generate a new one. 
Generating a new API key will interrupt any pre-existing ClaimXperience API services until your developers have completed updating their API calls. A new API key should only be generated in close coordination with your company’s development team.
