Policyholder: Contents overview

Updated by Jennifer B.

Contents refers to property other than real property. Typically, contents can be picked up, packed, moved, and stored. Examples of contents include, but are not limited to, furniture, clothing, and jewellery.

Real property usually includes land and fixtures that are permanently attached to the land. Examples of real property include, but are not limited to, buildings, fences, and roads.

You are notified by email when a contents task is shared with you, after which you can immediately start building your contents inventory.

After you are invited to participate in a contents task, you will see Contents in your side-navigation My Tasks menu. Select Contents to visit your inventory page.
